Account Deletion
Request deletion of your account and data.
We will process your request within 30 days. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account (phone number, display name, neighborhood memberships)
- All incident reports you submitted
- All reactions and comments you made
- Your push notification registration
What we keep and why
Some records are retained for legal and operational reasons after your account is deleted:
Anonymized incident records
Once your account is deleted, your reports are anonymized and retained as part of the community safety archive. They cannot be linked back to you.
Moderation audit logs
If moderation actions were taken on your account's content, these records are retained for 3 years for accountability purposes.
Open contact form inquiries
If you have an open inquiry submitted through our contact form, that record is retained until the inquiry is resolved.
How long it takes
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your confirmation. Access to your account is disabled immediately upon confirmation. You will receive an email when the deletion is complete.
Identity verification
To protect you, we verify your identity before processing a deletion. After you submit this form, we will send a one-time code to the phone number or email address associated with your account. Enter the code to confirm your request.
Alternatives to account deletion
If you want to keep your account but stop using the app, you can simply stop. Your data will remain private. If you want to change your display name or leave a neighborhood group, you can do so in the app under Settings.
