Common questions
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from within the app (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account) or from our account deletion page.
How do I report a problem with a specific report?
Long-press the report in the app and select 'Report this content'. Our moderation team reviews it within 48 hours.
How do I change my display name?
Go to Settings → Profile in the app.
How do I turn off notifications?
Go to Settings → Notifications in the app, or change notification permissions in your phone settings.
The app is not working correctly. What should I do?
Try force-closing and reopening the app, then check for app updates in the Play Store or App Store. If the problem continues, email [email protected] with your phone model and OS version.
How long does Gorebet keep my data?
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Anonymized incident data is retained as part of the community safety archive. Full details are on the Privacy page.
